My name is Victor Mills

I was raised here in Lufkin, Texas and graduated from Hudson High School in 2018. I married my wife Kayla in 2020, and we welcomed our son Josiah James“JJ” in 2023. I have been a dedicated employee at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin since 2019. The funeral industry gives me the opportunity to serve families during some of the hardest times of their lives and I feel honored knowing that I can help make the process personal and as easy as possible.


Now, I am also serving the community with my addition of headstone sales. I work with Austin Memorials based out of Tyler, Texas. They are a credible company known for exceptional customer service and dedication to quality work and competitive prices. Together we work to build a personalized memorial that is custom to that individual and is sure to honor them in the most special way.


We will sit down together and draw up your vision for the perfect stone. Once we have it exactly the way you want, we could have it ordered, and then set in the cemetery in as little as 60-90 days, depending on if you choose an in stock item.

Learn About Our Founder

Andy first got into cooking after finishing up a BS in Biology at the University of Iowa and preparing for medical school applications. This newfangled hobby turned into a full fledged passion and led him away from medicine and to Seattle for culinary school. During their four years out West, Andy was able to get essential experience in several Seattle restaurants, and start his own boutique catering company. With his daughter in tow, son on the way and a vision for his own restaurant in Charlotte, Andy moved back to raise his family and pursue his dream.



Upon arrival, Andy landed a coveted job at the Lincoln Cafe where he spent five years in a wonderfully enriching environment, expanding his culinary ideals. Now Andy brings you a realized dream of what a restaurant means to him, Peak Lounge. Free time for Andy includes helping his kids discover the world, reading as many cookbooks as he can manage, and enjoying peaceful Charlotte living.
